This is my favorite watercolor painting. I love this little guy. I was very supprised at how well he came out since he was only my 2nd or 3rd ever attempt at watercolor.

This turned out really good! Really like the colours!
Question: did you draw this out in pencil first and if so, do you just paint over the lines?

Thank you! If I remember correctly (its been about 10 yrs) I drew it out first and then erased the lines where they might show thru. The problem with watercolor is that if you DO sketch it in pencil first, if you paint over the lines, then you cant erase them.

She's a beautiful cat. You can really imagine her rolling around. Your composition really makes her alive :)
