perseverance and divorce

after 7 years and much heartache i am going to divorce my husband. our relationship started with me finding out i was pregnant after only dating david for 5 weeks. (gotta love antibiotics!) and then the NEXT day i was crippled in a car accident that my soon-to-be husband caused. our relationship pretty much started with him being resentful and feeling obligated to take care of me because he "broke" me.

why do people think that just because im the one asking for the divorce that im not hurting?

why dont people realize that ive been hurting all along?

why is it now that i have told him i want a divorce that he has become husband/father of the year?

at least i have learned from the past that this behavior is not permanent!! and that after i say i'll stay, things will gradually return to normal and he will be cold and heartless again.

i hope that he is wrong about love. true love does exist right? desire for your mate doesnt die after a few years right??

i hope that there is happiness out there for me.
